Public Relations and Integrated Communications Intern

Amyah supported The L3 Agency by collaborating closely with the President, Founder, and CEO, Larvetta Loftin, and cross-functional teams to strengthen brand visibility, streamline communication workflows, and expand digital presence. Her work includes crafting clear, compelling content across, managing community engagement, and conducting research that informs data-driven strategies. Amyah handled tasks ranging from outreach emails and content strategy to keyword research, media opportunities, and podcast sourcing. Amyah also monitored industry trends, analyzed performance metrics, and provided insights that enhance campaigns, podcasts, and overall brand storytelling. Through organization and collaboration, Amyah helped elevate content quality and ensured that L3 communications aligned with best practices in PR, social media, and digital marketing.

  • Amyah executed targeted guest pitching by researching podcasts aligned with Larvetta Loftin’s brand, crafting tailored outreach, and securing confirmed interview slots to boost earned media visibility.

  • She enhanced the agency’s digital strategy through platform audits, performance analysis, and recommendations that informed content planning and audience engagement. She explored Substack for brand expansion and authored four original marketing articles for the Marketing Mondays LinkedIn newsletter, supporting the agency’s thought leadership and communication goals.

  • She gained practical experience in guest pitching, social media auditing, and data-driven content planning, deepening her understanding of PR and digital strategy. She strengthened her research skills by exploring platforms like Substack and analyzing competitors, audiences, and trends. She also had hands-on experience with AI video editing tools and saw firsthand how AI can positively impact content creation and overall workflow. She learned how to collaborate across teams and manage multiple projects with clarity and organization.

  • Her next steps include continuing her education and pursuing an MBA to build a strong foundation in business and leadership. She plans to use the skills gained during this internship, such as strategic content development, guest pitching, social media auditing, and project coordination, to advance her career in PR and project management.

“This internship was meaningful for me on both a professional and personal level. During a difficult time with my family, the team showed me so much compassion—reminding me to prioritize my mental health and giving me the space I needed. Working with an all-female team was incredibly empowering and made me feel supported every step of the way.
